Warranty

Every engine and gearbox we sell is compression and leak-down tested (engines) or bench-shift tested (gearboxes) before it's listed. On top of that testing, we back every unit with a written warranty.

Warranty Periods

• Used units: minimum 3 months from date of delivery.
• Refurbished units: up to 6 months from date of delivery. The exact period for a given unit is stated on its product listing.
• New units: covered by the original manufacturer or supplier warranty, stated on the product listing.

What's Covered

Internal mechanical failure under normal use, correct installation, and correct application (i.e. the part was fitted to a vehicle matching the engine/gearbox code it was sold for).

What's Not Covered

• Damage caused by incorrect installation, neglect, or use outside the part's rated specification.
• Wear items (gaskets, seals, clutch friction plates) unless faulty on arrival.
• Damage caused by a fault in a different part of the vehicle (e.g. cooling system, electronics) that was not disclosed to us.
• Units that have been disassembled or modified by a third party before a warranty inspection.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Email sales@torquedepot.co.za or message us on WhatsApp with your order number and a description of the fault. We may ask for photos or a video, and in some cases will arrange an inspection before approving a repair, replacement, or refund.

Warranty claims are separate from our Return Policy, which covers the first 14 days after purchase for change-of-mind returns, fitment issues, and damaged or incorrect shipments.
